02Agreement
These terms apply to your use of MyScanner (the “service”), operated by Ahmed Sairafi in Istanbul, Türkiye. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use MyScanner for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.
03The service
MyScanner provides tools that inspect links, websites, files, email addresses, domains, IP addresses, TLS certificates, subdomains, passwords and QR codes, and explains the evidence found. The service is under active development: features may change, be added or be removed, and some tools are marked “Coming soon”.
04Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secret. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us promptly at info@myscanners.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
05Acceptable use
You may not use MyScanner to:
- scan, probe or test systems, networks or accounts you do not own or are not authorized to test;
- attack, overload or disrupt any system, including MyScanner itself;
- attempt to reach private, internal or cloud-metadata addresses through the platform, or to bypass its protections;
- upload content you have no right to share, or use the service for anything unlawful;
- harass people, collect others' personal data, or check passwords that are not yours;
- automate requests, share accounts or otherwise evade daily allowances;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service beyond what the law allows.
Security researchers: please report vulnerabilities through the security report form and do not access other users' data.
06What results mean
Reports describe what our checks and outside sources observed at the time of the scan. Checks can fail, be incomplete or be wrong, and sources can be out of date. A result marked “no indicators” or “unknown” is not proof of safety, and a warning is not proof of wrongdoing. You are responsible for decisions you make based on a report.
07Your content
You keep all rights to what you submit. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy, including sending specific items (such as a URL or file hash) to the reputation services named there.
08Allowances & availability
Each tool has a daily allowance that resets at 00:00 UTC; your current allowance is shown on your profile. We aim to keep MyScanner available but do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may change allowances to protect the platform.
09Liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from reliance on a report. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10Suspension & closing
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk. You can stop using MyScanner and delete your account at any time from your profile or in the app, or by emailing info@myscanners.com.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes are subject to the courts of Istanbul, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
12Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify signed-in users. Continuing to use MyScanner after a change means you accept the updated terms.
